Hobro is paving the way for a new running and walking event, the Allan Danske Løbet, on January 4, 2025, starting at DS Arena. The event features several distances, including a loop race, half marathon, and full marathon, and is created in memory of Allan “Danske” Andersen, a dedicated volunteer who made a difference for Hobro IK and IK Rosendal. Bo Langberg, one of the initiators behind the race, emphasizes that it is about community and remembering a person who meant a lot to many. Participants can look forward to aid stations every 7 kilometers as well as a diploma and medal for all who finish.
