The Almindingsløbet is the running celebration of the year and Bornholm's traditional sports event, taking place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 14:00 for the 55th time. The race starts in the middle of Almindingen, west of Christianshøjkroen, where up to 1,000 participants can choose between distances of 2.6 km children's run, 2.6 km fun run and walk, 6 km walk, 6 km fun run, as well as 8 km fun run and walk. Almindingsløbet is for the whole family and takes place on hilly forest trails, making it an ideal opportunity for both walking and running.
