On Sunday, June 1, 2025, HVRunners will host the Hillerød Half Marathon for the first time, featuring a beautiful and experience-rich half marathon route that takes runners through the courtyard of Frederiksborg Castle and past the Neptune Fountain. The route leads runners past hotspots such as Hillerød Town Hall, Frederiksbro, Slotsgade, the Town Square, Frederiksborg Castle, and the Castle Park, as well as the Strødam Nature Reserve. It is a slightly hilly route on asphalt, making it a popular event for both experienced and new runners, with timing via IPICO chip and prizes for the fastest participants.
