The Taastrup Run, which is Denmark's most popular recreational race, has been held without interruption every single month since 1975. The race takes place on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM from April to September and on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 10:00 AM from October to March, starting from the TIK Clubhouse, Parkvej 78, 2630 Taastrup. Participation costs 50 DKK for adults and 20 DKK for children, and adults run for free if the children cannot run alone. Distances offered are 10 km, 5 km, and 2 km.
