The Thy Trail Marathon will challenge you in Thy's harsh winter nature with a completely unique running experience. You will run in the remote and wind-blown dune terrain between Lodbjerg Lighthouse and Klitmøller. The route follows the old Rescue Road and features many detours onto small paths in the dunes, down to the beach, and through some of the small fishing communities where the boats are still pulled up on the shore. The race takes place on November 1 – 2, 2025, offering 42 km or 21 km spread over 2 days in the beautiful surroundings of Thy National Park.
